Volunteer Capital Centre (VCC) collects personal information on its registration form and through email to enhance the quality of its programs. This information is collected solely for internal use within VCC and its partner organizations. Your email and other details will be passed onto other volunteers in the same intake as you, so you can make contact before you arrive in the host country. If you would prefer that this did not occur, please inform us. We take your privacy seriously and do all we can to protect it. VCC promises to keep all information about our clients totally private. We do not sell your emails or other personal information onto other online companies. This means that information about your education, career, exam results, hobbies, phone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses, and interests will be kept totally confidential. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Online payments are processed through a secure third party site. Also credit cards can be processed through our website.

To assist us with your evaluation of our performance and to keep in touch with you for as long after your time with us as you are content for us to do so or if you wish us to provide a reference for you.
This means that we will pass your data to our offices and representatives overseas, and will pass limited data on your name, age, interests, academic qualifications to the school or project and your photograph.
We will not sell the information contained on the database or contained in paper documents, to other organizations except where required by law.

If you would like to know exactly what personal information VCC has collected about you, we will be happy to share it with you. This includes transaction information (e.g., dates on which you made payments, amounts and types of payments), communications you have directed to our staff (e.g., e-mails, customer inquiries), and contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number).
